Can’t be done? Says who?

Moses said:

Deuteronomy 30:

10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

King David said:

Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

King Solomon said:

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

In a Last Days context, Malachi said:

Malachi 4:

1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Jesus said:

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Paul said:

Philippians 4:13 I can do ALL THINGS through Christ which strengtheneth me.

John said:

1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

And while writing in a Last Days context, he also agreed with Malachi:

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

A silly, crazy man who just believes the Bible writes Facebook notes and says:

“Looks like we might be in the Last Days. Hmmmm… Call me crazy, but I think maybe we should oughta obey YHWH.”

An angry Christian mob on Facebook screams:

I’m thinking at least one of the above has it it wrong. Can you figure out who it is?

As of last night, i convinced my husband to watch archon invasion 1 and 2, i found this website, i read probably ten of these articles of yours, i called the kids in and read them the deuteronomy 12 test, i discussed the changes our family will make, we prayed together. Today I’m reading more, i who have been anxious and restless and begging God to reveal himself to me am calm and steady and at peace today. First time in awhile. I see that I have been missing huge parts of the hible. Read them and didn’t see them. Didnt accept them, more like. My brother sent me the archon invasion link on YouTube 2 days ago. My outlook and heart have changed completely since then. I dont know anything about the old festivals and sabboths and passovers. I never paid attention and it was never required of me. Just so happens, God being who he is, my brother has just married a wonderful woman who’s family has begun learning the law and the old celebrations. Thank you for enduring the thousands of mockers because my family, me and my not religiously raised husband and our 5 kids, we needed someone to open our eyes to this.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. So glad I was able to play some small part in YHWH’s answer to your prayers to get to know Him better and walk in His ways. May He richly bless you and your family as you draw nearer to Him through His Word.

Rob – I agree with you, however, what of the statutes and ordinances that are posed in relation to “the Land”? Such as those in the TORAh that begin with “When you come into the Land…, etc.”? I don’t know how to obey those because I’m not in the Land (though I strongly desire my home be in the New Jerusalem). What of the commanded pilgrammage to Jerusalem (appointed place of worship) for the High Holy Days in Leviticus? How do you reconcile these issues?

I struggle only because these particular commands seem to have actual land boundaries. I know the 10 Words are clearly written on my heart and I want to be in community where are all of YHWH’s commandments are honored by that community. It is very confusing as to which are needed – and, since “sin is transgression of the commandment” I constantly feel I am living in sin for not doing “all” of the TORAH.

We are only able to do what we can while in exile – just as the Jews were only able to do what they could while in Babylon. When Messiah brings us into the land, we will then be able to do the rest.
