Finding Fault With Perfection… Or With Translation?
Published by Rob Skiba February 19, 2015 at 3:21 PM Many people like to quote Hebrews 8 whenever we suggest that obeying YHWH is still a valid and needed thing to do as Believers. The problem is they are guilty of two things: 1) Trusting in INSERTED (italicized) English words for their flawed doctrine and 2) Cherry-picking verses out of context. Hebrews 8 starts off with… Hebrews 8: 1 Now of the... read more

Surviving the coming Great Tribulation without a Rapture
Published by Rob Skiba February 16, 2015 at 3:04 PM Once you ditch the delusion of the pre-Trib Rapture and its neccessary crutch of Dispensation Theology, the first thought is one of fear concerning the coming Great Tribulation. Fear not and consider the REASON many of us are turning back to the writings of the Old Testament to support what we believe in the New Testament: Zephaniah 2:3 (KJV) Seek... read more

Oh Foolish Galatians!
Published by Rob Skiba February 12, 2015 at 10:48 PM Is Galatians the ONLY book in the Christian Bible? I think not. However, to read the usual antinomian responses to just about anything pertaining to the Law of YHWH, you would think it is. I personally have no problem with the book. I love it along with all the others it AGREES with. Saw something interesting today. Did you know that Paul is not the... read more

Can’t be done? Says who?
Published by Rob Skiba February 12, 2015 at 9:34 PM Moses said: Deuteronomy 30: 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. 11 For this commandment which I command... read more

The Need for Grace and the Law
Published by Rob Skiba February 11, 2015 at 1:59 PM I posted the following to my wall as simply status posts, but these things get buried there rather quickly, so I am putting them into a Note so that I can find them again. 🙂 I also added a bit more to it though… ====================================================== Some people wonder why I talk about the Law so much. With the world, I don’t... read more

Shemitahs and Blood Moons – What’s the Point?
Published by Rob Skiba: February 10, 2015 at 2:41 PM Just an observation: First let me say that I am a big fan of many of the “prophecy” organizations out there. I think what they are doing – for the most part – is awesome. But lately, I am really seeing this idea that “fear sells” almost as well as sex. Since Christians can’t peddle the latter, they... read more

Obedience to YHWH is too hard and keeping the Appointed Times is too difficult?
Published by Rob Skiba January 27, 2015 at 12:52 PM Deuteronomy 30: 1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee, 2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to... read more

The Second Exodus, the Appointed Times and what it means to be “wise”
Published by Rob Skiba January 26, 2015 at 5:49 PM This is the 5th year for us studying the Torah and we are about 13 chapters into Exodus right now. It NEVER ceases to absolutely AMAZE me what YHWH continues to reveal through Moses! I will write more in the days ahead. For now, I just want to focus on what it means to be “wise,” because it certainly plays a major role in the Last... read more

A “different Jesus” an offended Apostle and a “thorn in the flesh”
Published by Rob Skiba January 15, 2015 at 4:55 PM So, I saw this pic in my news feed this morning: It really got me thinking. Wow! Indeed, we have had a “different Jesus” (Yeshua) being preached to us for a very long time! I decided to look up that passage in 2 Corinthians 11 and was reminded of a study I had done back in 2003, which revealed what Paul’s... read more
